of course, I'm joking. But, it was done in the past to avoid a similar Republican threat, if I understand correctly.http://www.weeklystandard.com/weblogs/TWSFP/2009/0 ...Howard Stephen Berg can "read[..] more than 25,000 words a minute (over 416 words per second)". Since this bill is around 439,000 words (remember that the amount of pages is irrelevant compared to the amount of words, as pointed out in earlier comments). This guy could read the bill in under 20 minutes. I'm assuming that lesser speed readers could still smash it out in under an hour or two.
"Around 70% of the size of government comes from the size of the military. Are you advocating a reduction in defense spending?"If that involves not having troops in every country -ever-, then yes, reduce away."All those extra pages are accounting for details you'll never have the patience to be aware of or think about."Actually, a lot of the extra pages in bills typically -create- loopholes. The Constitution is very specific in the things it allows, and specifically states that anything else is not covered (delegated to the states). The people like Bush and Obama who violate the Constitution are not doing it through loopholes. They are doing it through blatant violations of the law of the land.
Since when does long mean bad? War and Peace by Tolstoy is long as f**k and that's a great book. Just cuss white dudes have small penises anything long gets em angry...
