Psychiatrists go to medical school and are authorized to prescribe medicine. They usually deal with very sick people, not just depressed/sad ones. A psychiatrist who conducts research has to go through an MD PHD program, which is usually 6 or 7 years long, followed by a residency. Psychologists do not go to med school, they have their own program and are only authorized to prescribe a few drugs. They mostly just talk about feelings. I went through a grad program in psychology, and after 4 years in microbiology the "science" was just laughable.

i just find this whole study silly - yes, i'm jumping on the band wagon - if you're in a monogamous relationship and you use the pill, then go ahead and fill 'er up, but any woman who has an active sex life with multiple partners and doesn't use a condom is an idiot.
