Yes, Seesmic sucks ass (so much so that the balls are in danger of getting sucked in also). And yes this is a very funny review, But when i started to watch some of his other videos of this guy I noticed something, this guy is all about the negative. I don't take reviews or advice from people that are so negative, something just isn't right there. He even blocked the entire country of France from viewing his blog when the CEO of Seesmic called him racist.What a bull s**t response. Does he not realise that its a French company(dailymotion) that hosts his videos? Then he cloaks his aggressive childish response with some "humor" so that anyone calling him a douche bag can be told they don't get his humor. I get the jokes, it still doesn't change the fact that this guy is a hugely negative douche thats on the way to a heart attack.
Seriously now: Seesmic is a Ponzi scheme based on schrewd communication and simply hot air - Loic is going to leverage is schmooze- based network to make us believe that his company is somethings serious and new (go to ustream, blogTv, knockaTv, current TV,PyroTV, etc,etc or simply YouTube !). It is not. Actually, Loic has never been able to grow any of his 5 past companies past the 1.5 USD million sales mark - Worrying when you know a company usually does have to make money and grow...And you call these ventures a success ? - A great way to sell failure as serial entrepreneurship !- He could be a journalist though. Although he became a great PR, he is definitely incapable of setting up a serious business: From Steve Jobs to Marc Andreesen , none have founded 5 companies in 8 years like he claims he did… that is so many economical failures. I have to be fair though: His only success was RapidSite France, back in 1998, a web hosting company sold for USD 15 million.. founded by his wife.He even said that he was tired of business and believes that real power lies in Politics. In fact, he aims at using Seemsic during the next US presidential elections, make some noise and try the same coup as in France. You will see.Getting Arrington on board with Conway is just a coin flipped in the air, and they know it -They believe Loic will make enough noise to create value in the usual 36 months period he usually gives himself to bail out from a failed venture.. I know Conway quite well. The first round of seesmic was nothing for him and I guess he knows who he is dealing with. But Loic: Noise is not a value when it comes to a technologically weak projectand a real entrpreneur takes the critics. In this case, prematurate noise magnifies the weaknesses of the project and the business model.Bottom line: Its a pity to spend so much time talking of such bogus ventures when real projects & relevant technologies are in the making. We are defintely approaching the burst of the bubble.
