22:30 into the podcast i hear, '.. you can foresee the day when windows is more secure than the others ( meaning other os's like linux )' -Steve Gibson.He must be out of his skull. Windows is insecure because there are cracks and gaps in the areas where the components interface with each other. Which doesn't seem fixable because it is a by-product of the closed source development model.

MS seems to be damned if they do and damned if they don't. They are criticized for security problems and when they implement a system that I am sure has been a tremendous financial undertaking I still hear complaining... "Well they really should do this for their competitors too..." Microsoft, you did something very good for all of us. Who knows there this new phenomenon (ver 1.0) on the internet will take us.
