rawstory.com — As a snarky response to Muslim bloggers who "warned" Comedy Central about an episode of South Park showing the Prophet Mohammed wearing a bear suit, one Seattle cartoonist, who calls laughter her form of "prayer," is asking artists all over the world to create depictions of Mohammed on May 20, then submit the images to a Facebook page she set up.

Like I said (somewhere on this page), you can draw whatever you want whenever you want, nobody can stop you from that. Even put it on TV, the Muslims can choose to not watch. And yes there are crazy people who will try to stop you, for sure. But why create this hate filled anti-Islam day where everyone goes out of their way to offend and spit at a huge group of people, when majority of them are peaceful Americans who shop at your local Target, work at your local stores, own businesses, do research at your universities, and are 2nd and 3rd generation Americans with every right to practice their religion as you have to practice your Atheism, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc, etc. in this country. Just because you don't understand "why" something is so offensive to a group of people because of your ignorance or lack of caring, doesn't mean you should participate in a hate rally where most of the participants are just doing it because they are just following the herd. Dare to be different and use some other means to get your point across. Perhaps join a Muslim organization (even as a non-Muslim member) who is AGAINST these terrorist organizations, and PRO freedom of speech so you can make change from within!

hahaha wow. To fungowski and elmundio87, you totally missed the point. It kind of makes me laugh. (Noiseache, this is aimed at you). FIRST and foremost, I am NOT Muslim or any other religion. I could personally care less about images of Mohammed or his images. So this isn't "religious" bulls**t, since I'm not religious. My point is not that I agree with prohibiting images of Mohammed. It doesn't matter to me. I suppose if portraying Mohammed's image was done in a way that added value to the public discussion, I'd be for it. But I think it's the "easy" way out to simply make fun of it. My point is that it takes a bigger person to respect someone else's ideas and faith, even if it's different from their own. Instead of just reacting to an idea by making fun of it or being blasphemous, do you have anything of substance to say? You are so quick to degrade the ideas just on the basis that they're religious, without any good arguments. All you say is that you're sick of religion. I doubt you'll respond with any kind of coherent, meaningful argument. You only know how to REACT at an emotional level to religion. In reality, your dogmatic, knee jerk reaction is no more worthy of respect than the religious fanatics you so despise. Religion makes you angry, and that's the end of your argument in so many words (there IS an argument there, but you need to figure that out for yourself. I'm not going to give it to you). Is there any other reason that we should draw Mohammed other than because it irritates Muslims? Do you have anything to actually SAY? Or will you just blindly recite that religion sucks, you're sick of it being shoved down your throat, etc.?

Its ok to draw someone you KNOW HOW HE LOOKED As long as there is a DESCRIPTION of that person you can draw it cool with me... But There is nothing about Mohammed (saws) not even a description of how he dressed therefore you are making crap up!

Doesn't this just lower us to their level? The reason we anti religious people are winning this battle is because we are using logic, and not just acting fervently off our emotions. Two wrongs don't make a right, and all this is going to do is offend the majority of the Islamic population that isn't extremist and make us look like a bunch of douches.

Damn to be honest I got carried away. It's not you we are fighting against. This is all your controlled "free" media's way of demonizing other people. Know the truth why we fight your government. It was not your decision that they manipulated events in the middle east, but it's your choice if you will abide by their decisions.
