"Mozilla Corporation, Opera and Apple, all working independently on their own products. What did they team up on, other than the standardised RSS icon? I'll agree with the last part though."They are drafting the html 5 spec? The Web Applications 1.0 and some other things. Lookup the WhatWG.

Try reading the actual link:"W3Schools is a website for people with an interest for web technologies. These people are more interested in using alternative browsers than the average user. The average user tends to use Internet Explorer, since it comes preinstalled with Windows. Most do not seek out other browsers. These facts indicate that the browser figures above are not 100% realistic. Other web sites have statistics showing that Internet Explorer is used by at least 80% of the users.Anyway, our data, collected from W3Schools' log-files, over a five year period, clearly shows the long and medium-term trends."Those are stats for THEIR WEBSITE ONLY. A TECHNOLOGY web-site even.

"Seriously though, I'd reinstall cuz it sounds like maybe something may have gone wrong with your install or perhaps the download..."Did you read my post? I said it's because the damn thing has no proxy setup options. The lack of a proper proxy configuration is what makes Safari crash on my computer, since it knows there's a proxy server, but won't let you set up it and doesn't know how to do it automatically, resulting in it basically bashing it's skull against a wall, with the internet on the other side of that wall.
