yougamers.com — Scott: First, we fully admit we’re screwed up the development of DNF, and it’s now an industry joke. I laugh (and cry) when I think about it, too. Our fault is that we set the bar too high, and we tried too hard to make the game to beat all games. In the last 18 months we’ve taken a much more realistic look at the project ...

"@nudar - because his school hand-in is not relevant? It would be like me posting my completed homework on global warming on a digg story about global warming."It's a heck of a lot more relevant than at least have the postings on here.

I kept reading, looking for the obvious question for an interview with a FPS developer: "Are you making games for the Wii?" With it's shooter-friendly controller, it's a real missed opportunity by the interviewer. A lot of the questions were really boring actually. If I had Scott Miller to talk to, I'd sure as hell come up with better stuff than most of those softball PR-twaddle queries.

"OK, so let me get this straight... And he's intending to release a game in 2008 (or 2009 or...) which is based on the Unreal *1* engine?"Umm, no, actually. They moved from engine to engine a few times. It is NOT "based" on the Unreal 1 engine.

RotT was utter garbage except for the weapons! How they ever had the gall to release somehting that looked and played so s**t after doom had been released by iD is something that baffles me to this day.
