Look -- I'm not "for" Scientology or any CULT for that matter. However, you people need to be realistic! If some dude is standing outside your building or house --> video taping it, then moves to another corner, videos that -- then (hmmm, I dunno know, call me crazy) but that (to me) would be suspicious... suspicious enough for me to call out my guards or police to question that individual and (yes) even perhaps video or photograph him and his vehicle (plates.) I don't think they (the sci-guards) were acting any stranger or inappropriate than any other guard for any other "business", or police officer for that matter. If you're going to post dirt on Scientology (and there is LOTS of legit dirt!!! no doubt!) -- find something that makes me think they're stupid, not you.
Okay now I know there are laws against filming certain public buildings... regardless of where you are on the street... but does filming the CoS apply to that? If Not (which I belive), isn't it illegal for the security guard to start snapping photos of a person on a public sidewalk with a personal camera... especially if the person says he/she does not want to be photographed... is that a breach of rights in any way?

what is so creepy? He got rid of the camera man didn't he. If anything it seems like an impressive way to get rid of unwanted media attention.

It doesn't scare me... if that guy started following me I'd break the camera off him!! We don't take that s**t here in Ireland.
