Legitimate religions however, are greater than the sum of their parts. That's to say that the people that participate do so for what they believe to be the common good and the reason for tax exemptions and other benefits is that the main goal of their organization is to serve people, not themselves.Scientology dwells on creating the appearance of being that way, but truly acts to serve it's members in material and not spiritual ways..

For all the wannabe "theologians"/bigots, get over it, Scientology is a RELIGION. Read what actual academics and religious leaders have said about the religion. This makes for a good start:http://www.bonafidescientology.org/Append/05/index.htm

So the only way to reach this enlightenment, is to be a unemployed and leeching off people? Because if you are not selling something or working for someone, you are not making any money. In that case yeah I could see why you would think this country is controlled by the people with money, because thats just about everyone but you.

You should tell it to Indian Prime Minister. On December 27, 2006 Manmohan Singh became the first sitting Indian prime minister to openly acknowledge the parallel between the practice of ?untouchability? and the crime of apartheid. Singh described ?untouchability? as a ?blot on humanity? adding that ?even after 60 years of constitutional and legal protection and state support, there is still social discrimination against Dalits in many parts of our country.? http://www.hrw.org/legacy/english/docs/2007/02/13/ ...
