When Eta Carinae goes off, as powerful as described in the article, could there be adverse affects on other stars in our galaxy? Possible our own star?Other then asked above, sure would be cool to have a telescope ready to watch :)
Just thought that this in interesting..."a new breed"by reading that one might get the idea that this supernova is just another end of the world thing that just was created to destroy us. Its a big supernova buts it is just a supernova.Ger
Being the geeky type, I've always wondered if there were areas in the sky with multiple supernova relatively close together. Possible indicator of alien superforces at war taking out stars and such... :)
