Watch them patent it and make everyone pay. I know there needs to be dividends paid on research done, particularly for universities but IMO a full on patent is not the 'right' thing to do by the community. Everybody seems to be patenting everything these days :/
I agree, medication should be available to all, and government regulations are necessary to make sure medications and new research results are accessable to all, but not only to those who can pay.
These types of stories seem to me to always give hope that's unfounded for cures. I don't think thisparticular research is going to end up curing anything, but every little piece is a step in the rightdirection, and amen to people who get funded by large pharm. companies to work on the typeof stuff that conspiracy theorists like to claim they'll never release.
