There are.. at home and abroad.. it's just that the liberal media does a great job of squashing their outcries while simultaneously spreading propaganda. All for the left to further their control over tax money and people's lives.Nothin like a little wealth re-distribution!!

Why should I give a f*ck what an economist says about global warming? Should I ask the guy installing my cable today if my plumbing needs to be replaced?Whenever I read something like this, I go out and buy a bulk package of styrofoam coffee cups and set it on fire.

The world is bigger than your area of Michigan. It boggles the mind as to how ignorant a person must be to think that a regional weather event cancels out a multi-decade global trend.Using the 30 year mean, the hottest 28 years of the record are the past 28 in exact sequential order. In terms of the single years, the hottest 23 have been in the past 28 & the hottest 12 have been the past 12. A period of 30 years was chosen because that is the span of the reference period that HadCRU (1961-1990) is based on. The HadCRUT3v temperature record covers 1850 - current. http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/cru/climon/data/themi/g17 ...The cooling of 2007 & 2008 is expected as it is caused by the Southern Oscillation, i.e. La Nina & El Nino. 1997-8 was the strongest El Nino of record. 2008 is the hottest La Nina-influenced year with no El Nino ever recorded. This is why pointing solely to the temperature difference between 1998 and 2008 is not relevant to a discussion of the long-term trend. http://www.physicalgeography.net/fundamentals/7z.h ... http://www.cpc.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitori ...

Interesting dates....1975, 1963, etc.....Science knew as far back as 1950 this could happen, even Dr Zeus portrayed it in a children's book. At school in 1970 there were posters warning about it and the possibilities and the teachers in junior school explained it clearly. Yet 4 decades on Politicians still think Taxing it the best solution....We as a species are ruled by idiots and therefore we are doomed to failure.

"Temperatures are rising."No one argued otherwise, thought the chart by itself is incomplete."Well, that means I understand that you were mocking it is just that it is lame."But your original mockery was lame, and by twisting it, I illustrated and reinforced it's lameness."No. It is funny as dead duck."I've never heard that expression before, probably because it's also lame, and no one uses it."Your doing it again."It's "you're," so in addition to being lame, you're not literate.

"Be specific. How is the site irrelevant?"It was in response to my statement that that I never argued that temperatures weren't rising. Therefore, it's irrelevant. "Did you miss the part where I said "Your personal judgment that I put no stock in." Perhaps you just thought to conveniently ignore it?"Huh? Your thought process is disjointed. Making fun of you is not an "argument," it's simply a pleasant exercise."How does the confusion of your with you're make the residency time of CO2 a non issue?"The "residency time" of CO2 wasn't ever a topic of discussion until you threw the link in there to obscure the fact that you're an imbecile."Dude your a moron."I can't believe that after I just showed you the proper usage, you still don't understand it. The proper word is "you're." In any case, there's tremendous irony in the fact that in the same brief sentence that you call me a moron, you've revealed yourself to be a complete one. If you're American, one wonders how we'll be able to compete as a nation in the modern world when our fellow citizens are so poorly educated. In any case, I'm abandoning this thread, so feel free to have the last word. It's a waste of my time to attempt to reason with someone as clearly ignorant as yourself.
