The new figures suggest that an amount of oil equivalent to the Exxon Valdez disaster could still be flowing into the Gulf of Mexico every 8 to 10 days. ........

Yeah but we also are part of the problem. Am no go green person by far, but we really need to stop the lip service and pay attention to what we are doing to the environment.I wish the president would do a massive policy to change how America operates. This is one of the best chances while its fresh in the media overdosed voting public, where we can start banning things like plastic bags, aggresively push electric / hybrid vehicles and start a long term plan to reduce harmful industries. It wouldnt be 100% by far, but we are so excessive we share a small part of the burden of guilt.I was pissed at the ignorant drill baby drill crowd before, and it makes me speechless that people still believe that and blame the gulf on the government for being too strict with oil policies.
