magazine.jamsbio.com — Although less relevant in the age of MP3s, an album’s sequencing used to be a vital part of the creative process. The order of the tracks was often mulled over as closely as the recording itself....check out these 25 great closers! Includes The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Pixies, Radiohead, The Stone Roses, The Jam, Portishead, The Who...

Eclipse is a fantastic song; however, IMO I love "Outside the wall" as the ending to "The Wall". I still remember the first time I realized the ending of "Outside the Wall" is actually the beginning of "In the Flesh"... it damn near blew my mind.Isn't this where we came in?

the list is "25 great closing tracks", not "25 great all-original closing tracks."something from zeppelin should have been on the list. not sure how to choose which one, though.

Noooooooo!Roses had been playing that entire album for a couple of years before they went into the studio...then we have this thing on the end of the American release that is recorded separately and has a totally different feel to it...I think it was even produced by someone else...Don't get me wrong...I love fools gold, but its like slapping a photograph in the corner of a Picasso.

Not necessarily my favourite Tool track but definitely relevant to the subject. Many people I've spoken with were actually unaware that it was there, kinda like it's the hidden track.

I partially agree -- I'd allow any live albums that were released and sold as such. Not just any ol' live album like the ones from archive.org.
