Here's an interesting fact. Not everyone with schizophrenia takes medication. Some people actually enjoy it and for others it even helps them reach levels "normal" people can't.

I read his book "Born on a Blue Day" and it was a fascinating read. The way he learnt Icelandic from scratch in one week and then appeared live on an Icelandic chat show (speaking Icelandic of course) blew my mind.
