psp-news.dcemu.co.uk — SofiyaCat has today popped up with a test release of the Sega Saturn emulator Yabause for the PSP. this emulator has been ported to Dreamcast by DCemu UKs very own Bluemac so its nice and very interesting to see it ported to PSP.

Yeah, my first thought went along the lines of "How many seconds per frame does this one do?". I've already had a few people come to me and ask for a PSP port of both Yabause and DeSmuME back before there was one(and back when I was still part of DeSmuME) and I flatly told them "What's the point? No". Not because I don't like people porting the code to consoles, etc(I mean we have the DC port of Yabause). But I know what it requires to run Yabause on a PC alone, and the PSP just doesn't have the horsepower.It's also good to know that the GPL is being violated again by SofiyaCat.

Small correction, it does appear he is staying within the terms of the GPL. It's these other news sites, etc. that aren't(by making only the binary available)
