marchtogether.blogspot.com — A pro-life blogger rants about a horrific article written by a girl who is thrilled to be having an abortion. That sounds really horrible until you see the story is from The Onion. That the article was satire was missed by the blogger. Some of the comments posted are hilarious.

You misspelled HE.

This can't be real. It just can't. She even posted a followup post defending her stance against MIss Caroline "I'm fictional" Weber's article despite a 100 people telling her it wasn't real. No one is that dumb.

Oops sorry, I meant he!

Your willingness to correct yourself and your ability to laugh at yourself are two things that "Pete" hasn't yet learned.

When you become so vitriolic and so committed to a cause that you lose your sense of humor when discussing your cause, you run the risk of falling over the precipice of reason into complete illogic and ridicule. I've seen people like this when I worked with animal rights groups.Believe me, idiots like this are on both sides of the political spectrum.

This is the future, I believe I'm going to sit in a corner and hope the world loosens up a bit and begins to understand what is and isn't satire. And anagoge, I don't think this man has enough brainpower to think up a plan like that.

Many years ago several churches and some other religious organizations spread "warnings" about Harry Potter turning children on to Satanism. Their source? Another Onion article.I read that one woman who wrote to a newsletter to which she was subscribed explaining their error in taking satire as truth was subsequently removed from the distribution list. Apparently some religious people do not like having their mistakes identified.

I never laugh this hard just from reading the Onion. The comments almost made me pee. I kept looking for the thumbs up button.

Whatever, sorry your too l33t for me. I should of noticed the really small line at the bottom of the page said says "posted by Pete." Only an idot wouldn't see that. Seeing it is standard for journalists to place their picture by the title of the articles.
