nwfdailynews.com— The customer who got away _ especially after so many inducements _ is one reason why satellite radio is encountering unexpected turbulence after just a couple of years of being a hot consumer item.

Mine sounds very good in my car and my home. You may want to check and make sure you are receiveing a good signal with your antenna. If you are getting only one bar that would cause the low grade sound. in other words....RAMONE MOVE MY ANTENNA....
@willcodeforbeerRegardless of the medium, a "hits" channel is exactly that. I rarely listen to it, but the top 10 tracks do (and should) make up half of all play with the rest of the top 40 making up the rest. It is the "hits" channel after all.@frogpelt .... dead on.
How many people complained that they had to pay for tv which they got for free over rabbit ears? I have XM and it's up there with things such as satellite tv, and now that they have the XM2Go products, it's similar to a tivo in terms of functionality. I'm hooked, and hardly ever listen to AM or FM. I'll never go back ;)
Got XM Roadie 2 for a gift, got a year subscription, Loved O&A, but not enough not to churn. I didn't renew partly for cost, and partly due to the inane talk on the music channels. Sure there are no commercials on XM music channels yet the 'talent' would still post the songs (talking over the intros). In the end my iPod with a Belkin transmitter won out. No $13 bucks a month and no crappy reception in certain areas I drive through, really just music; no posting. So no more O&A now Leo&Steve and others fill my radio free style. Peace Semper Fi Mac
h0kiez , I don't know what you mean by a "hits" channel. Some I listened too which seem to have constant repitition are Area 33, Radio Margaritaville, and Chill.Margaritaville was nice on the sailboat when far away from any kind of radio reception. But, the drive with the others started good then got old with repitition.
Honestly, IMHO satellite radio should find an ADVERTISER FUNDED MODEL LIKE your other love to hate brand AOL! Otherwise it may already be too late, 'cause as it is they hock a sh*t load of ads on every commercial free station they have, and then some! And even with all that, they graft the consumer for more money!Pfffff!!!
