I'm not saying he picked her because he "needed" Alaska...but 3 electoral votes could very well decide this election. It's not too hard to envision a scenario where Obama just blows the doors off the popular vote and McCain barely wins the electoral college. It can happen.

Alaska's a state awash in Republicans going down for corruption. A congressman, a former governor and now a senator and it's all connected to big oil. Palin walks onto the stage and immediately announces she's hooked in with big oil...Is anyone in republican headquarters awake and / or sober?!?
