huffingtonpost.com — "Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies -- that's not the change we need, it's just more of the same."

The problem is that this limits Biden's ability to be overly frank and assertive. It will come across as aggressive, and female voters don't like seeing men be aggressive toward other women. It won't matter that this is a Vice Presidential debate. It's the emotion that counts with them, not the rationality of it. Biden is going to have to tread lightly in order to get his point across loud and clear without appearing like he's attacking Palin unnecessarily.

For those who argue, "She's ONLY the VP"...Four vice presidents succeeded to the presidency upon the assassination of the incumbent. Andrew Johnson for Abraham Lincoln in 1865, Chester Arthur for James Garfield in 1881, Theodore Roosevelt for William McKinley in 1901], and Lyndon Johnson for John Kennedy in 1963.Four Vice Presidents inherited the presidency after the natural death of the incumbent: John Tyler for William Henry Harrison in 1841, Millard Fillmore for Zachary Taylor in 1850, Calvin Coolidge for Warren Harding in 1923, and Harry Truman for Franklin Roosevelt in 1945. Richard Nixon resigned Aug. 9, 1974 to avoid impeachment. And then the experience with Dick Cheney gives us yet another experience to consider...

Young man, I like authentic people. I like reformers. I like realists. I am an active environmentalist who actually WORKS to improve the environment. I support feminism. I like Sarah Palin. You should too. She's a real reformer who went against her own party to fight corruption. She's not pretentious or a snob. She's a real feminist who not only believes that woman can do the same job as men, she LIVES it. She's an environmentalist, outdoorswoman and hunter. She knows that oil & gas exploration can coexist with environmentalism (c.f. Norway & Sweden ). She doesn't buy into the patently bulls**t anthropogenic global warming scam. She believes in hard work, personal responsibility, family, integrity, honor and probably DMFBTDOTStop wasting your time supporting the "whiners & complainers" and start working with the "workers & do-ers" and lets get these problems solved!Who do you think is going to work harder to drive us toward space-based solar power?McCain/Palin '08The only ones with callsigns

Very honest and objective. It looks like that's the argument McCaine is trying to bait the Obama supporters to bring to the table.

@ JGzman:He hasn't run the DNC. Nice job of an unrelated comparison with no valid point!@ Nekid:So What? Bush has one too! What does a law degree have to do with anything? Most lawyers can't balance a checkbook. Doctors and Lawyers are historically the worst businessmen around! She HAS been governor of a state, much like being President or heading a major business. Obama has....well he was in congress for a few weeks, anyway. Never held any other office, hasn't run a business, just runs around doing a bad MLK impersonation at speaking events.Wise up.
