Yes, and a few of the "Cons" they listed at the end of the article got me a bit, such as, "Both SO-DIMM slots occupied in default configuration" and "Meager software bundle". I guess me being all fanboyish and all, see, I would have listed a couple of Pros that went something like "2GB of RAM Standard", and "Excellent software bundle with iLife". I guess people are expecting to see a single 2GB RAM module (read: wasted costs and no dual channel memory standard), and Final Cut Studio shipping for free with all new Pro Mac purchases. /rolls eyes.

I am dissapointed about the lack of an HDMI connector. Yes, you can easily do DVI to HDMI, but that carries no sound. Since Apple is all up on this multimedia computer kick, then why not offer a braindead connector to easily connect a MacBook to HDTV including sound. Its almost like Apple purposely sabotages certain products to ensure sales of other products. A MacBook with HDMI would pretty much trump the AppleTV, so therefore they refuse to offer HDMI connectors on a MacBook.BTW, anybody know which camp Apple supports? Blu-Ray or HD-DVD? Me thinks its the opposite of Microsoft, meaning Blu-ray. Being Apple, they will wait until one format ranks supreme, come out with a Mac that supports it, then claim they were responsible for the format succeeding. In any case, Apple doesn't seem to support any next-gen DVD format as they see fit not to offer it on any product.

mach1andy,Don't forget... the memory is dual-channel (I believe) which means that it's actually still the FSB that is the limiting factor, not the memory speed.

Have to agree... I think that having ports in the back looks better but I find having them on the side much more convenient.

Wow. Just wow. WoW is a BLIZZARD game.BLIZZARD have faithfully supported Mac gaming for _years_. The original Diablo is Mac compatible. Diablo II is Mac compatible. Starcraft, Broodwars, Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne...all Mac compatible. But wait. Get this. This is how awesome BLIZZARD are. When I switched from PC to Mac I didn't need to buy new 'Mac versions'... because they ship on the _same frickin' disk_ as the PC version. How cool is that? From the Mac gamers point of view, BLIZZARD are the genuine glass of ice water in hell. :D
