thetechzone.com — TheTechZone has a review of Samsung's long-awaited XL20 20" LCD monitor. Rather than using a CCFL as a backlight the XL20 uses an array LEDs. This unit uses an RGB LED that produces a very true white as well as a perfectly even backlight and 114% of the NTSC colour gamut!

They will have to invent something else to break now they do not have ccfl lights.they could use whatever apple puts in ipods to kill them when the warranty expires.

The pricetag isn't so bad when you consider the Eizo 22" monitor with LED backlighting costs $5000.
