reghardware.co.uk — Samsung's credit card-sized phone, the P300, is to be updated, Samsung revealed at the IFA consumer electronics show last week. The new version, the P310, ditches its predecessor's pocket-calculator look and boosts the on-board camera to two megapixels.

Very interesting. Marked as lame to keep digg democratic.

I loved the "pocket calculator" look of the P300. It was bold and eyecatching, and inspired strong opinions, both pro- and con. Why did they have to wuss out with the new model?Oh well, maybe I can get a deal on the P300 now.

Eccohawk -Try carrying a thinner wallet and keeping it in your front pocket. You will be more comfortable when you sit, your pants will look better when you're walking, and there's less chance of your wallet falling out and getting lost.I use this wallet from Fossil: http://www.fossil.com/jump.jsp?itemType=PRODUCT&itemID=9839#It's got a magnetized money clip instead of a pocket, the inside holds about 8-10 credit cards plus assorted slips of paper, and the ID window makes it easy to show at bars.No room for a phone in this wallet, but I wouldn't recommend keeping a phone in a wallet anyway.

@jesusphreak - That's really disturbing. You have a story submitted 2 hours ago, with 198 diggs (probably more by now) - and not only is it not on the homepage, it's not even searchable. I'm sure lots of diggers find it frustrating that their well-written, interesting submissions rarely get more than a dozen or so diggs before they're too far down the queue to find. Meanwhile, some pretty lame stuff regularly finds its way to the front. The thing I love about Digg is its self-correcting nature. I hope I'm not wrong in believing that there aren't any "secret moderators" influencing it.

Firstly I'm not a troll. Secondly he lives in south Africa and I was there visiting him when he bought it. There is another world other than America my friend. You don't know everything. And yes it is exactly the size of a credit card, I measured it.

Well, since it's another foolish non-clamshell phone, it leaves the screen exposed to scratches and cracks at all times. And the keyboard exposed for inadvertent presses.Combine that with the design flaw of not putting the mic anywhere near your mouth, and you have another dumb mistake by a mobile-phone vendor. What a surprise.

Neat but the battery life has got to be terrible also I'd worry about damaging the screen.
