gizmodo.com — Samsung Instinct, second pass, this time in a room with real lighting! Besides learning that it'll come out for under $300, we took another look at the web browser. Turns out its slick, headlining interface feature -panning through a website by tilting the phone up or down- it's actually pretty nifty, though it doesn't quite make up for some flaws

Really?? With the G2 AT&T network you still have to wait on the iPhone to get the data. Instinct will have the data on the phone (due to Sprint's much much faster G3 and G4 netoworks) while you;re still waiting on the page to from AT&T. Devices are only as good as the bandwidth they have supporting them.

That would get kind of annoying if you were trying to view a page and you had to "tilt" to look around, sorry I can think of other places for my $300.

I can imagine the boardroom discussion - "What can we do that iPhone doesn't do?" Utterly useless gimimck.

"Devices are only as good as the bandwidth they have supporting them."Yeah, true. I saw a ton of people lined up outside the the Sprint store to get their hands on one of these. The bandwidth is just so amazing. It's going to be a landmark device. Pfft.

iPhone *is* a piece of crap. No one will buy it.

Ugh. Not more of that "Sony ripped off RCA in creating their own television" controversy.
