huffingtonpost.com — Five days after Rep. Michele Bachmann went on a McCarthy-esque rant suggesting Barack Obama was unpatriotic and urging the major newspapers of the country to investigate anti-American sentiment in Congress, the national Republican political parties are running for cover.

Yet she keeps digging, and digging, and digging...http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/22/bachmann-doubl ...Amazingly, she keeps insisting that people "read the transcripts". She obviously hasn't heard of the youtubes and the internets where you can watch the venom spew out of her vile mouth directly. It's much better on video.

Being a Tory might qualify, but I don't think we've had any of them in the U.S. since the War of 1812.

If you actually listened instead of just hearing what you wanted she didn't say that...

It's great that the Republican Party is dropping her like a bad habit. Now we have to hope that the voters in her district will ultimately come to the same conclusion. Comments welcome: http://whenelephantsfly.blogspot.com

Sorry, she said that all members of congress should be investigated by the media to figure out which ones are anti-America. She doesn't think there's anyplace in this country that's still pro-America. She's the only patriot left, I guess. You really think that's much better? She probably doesn't even trust congress to investigate its own members since so many of them are clearly traitors.

To the contrary: She was asked * do you believe Obama may have anti-American views* to which she responded "Absolutely" and then volunteered her own crazy ideas about a broad investigation.

I watched the interview live and she clearly did this to herself AND these are clearly her beliefs.

DIGG the LAUNCH OF THE AMERICAN NATIONAL PARTY!http://tinyurl.com/c9vqjh"The American National Party is an American political party designed with the interests of European Americans in mind. We represent European Americans, and, accordingly, our target demographic is European Americans. Given the modern political climate, we understand that this position can easily be manipulated and repositioned into something that it is not, by both supporters and detractors.Let it be known that the American National Party thoroughly and completely rejects the idea of ethnic supremacy and ethnic hatred. The concept of ethnic supremacy is scientifically unfounded and purely subjective, and it corrupts healthy and positive expressions of authentic ethnic cohesion. Any person that seeks to use the party and its resources as a vehicle to spread such views shall be immediately removed from their post, condemned, and cast out of the party."
