huffingtonpost.com — House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said on Thursday that President Barack Obama "slapped the table, wagged his finger and scolded him' at a recent White House meeting. Boehner's crime? Allegedly scaring the American public into a state of economic anxiety.

This is even worse than the "it's a trap" BS. "I don't know who's going to be there, I don't know, uh, how big the room is going to be..." Now the big, mean professor is lecturing him. I think Obama did make a mistake -- it wasn't the table that needed to be slapped.

Uh-oh. Sounds like barry is pissed. He slapped a table *gasp*. Its pathetic. The reason companies aren't hiring is that they are uncertain as to what is going to be foisted upon them by the Feds in the form of mandatory health care coverage or a facing an annual penalty or cap and trade or card check. If Barry is dumb enough to believe that small business owners make business decisions based on what John Boehner says, he is a dolt. It truly is amateur hour in DC these days.

At least they didn't start an illegal war built on lies and torture hundreds of innocents in order to fix the intel...Only Bush, Cheney did that. The dems may have difficulty with lusting after women but lust is not quite like slaughter

Act like a child, get treated like one.

That was my reaction. "Is Boehner whining about being scolded? Is he ten years old?" A scolding, finger wagging and all, is the least of what he deserves. Next time, I say confiscate the spray tan!

It's not just blue collar vs. ivy league. I once alienated an entire workplace full of people who had or were in pursuit of college degrees by making a joke, the punchline of which referred to The Wasteland. The guy I told the joke to understood it and thought it was hilarious, but people overheard me, and word got around, and the backhanded comments about how 'eccentric' I was started. We like to talk about the blue collar uneducated guy, but my experience tells me that it's not a matter of collar color or education level, it's a matter of a kind of person who hates or distrusts anyone who appears better educated/smarter than they are.
