Too lazy to read, what's BPA?
sodomanazAug 23, 2009
SIGG will replace them. Send them an email.

Why would you want it breathable?

Fun fact: older solar panels use arsenic as a dopant in the manufacturing process! Yay green!(Newer ones use phosphorus.)

It'd be pretty sad if they ended up in landfills, since they could easily be recycled.

Don't enable him.

Actually they implied that it didn't contain BPA and when asked about it numerous times they were evasive and never gave a straight answer.

People have also been ingesting mercury and dioxins for decades, that doesn't suddenly make it good for them!

superkendall is a prime example of someone who has heard a little bit about an issue (in this case bpa) but has the superego to pretend to be an expert. a very little scientific research will prove superkendall to be a foolish american consumer... see work of patricia hunt, theo colburn, fred vom saal, etc also recent study from harvard showing 69 percent increase in bpa (invented to be estrogen mimicker) after only one week of drinking cool room temp liquids in polycarbonate... the science is clear, the petrochemical industry deserves more scrutiny than the foolish consumer attitude shown by those such as superkendall...neither aluminum nor plastics of any type are safe to eat or drink out of. recycle your aluminum and reuse your plastic for something other than food/drink storage (firts aid kit,etc..) drink/eat out of quality glass, quality stainless steel, non-lead pottery, porcelain

What a douche. They were clearly riding the anti-BPA wave to sell their water bottles by misleading their customers.
