developer.sonyericsson.com — It's now official: Sony Ericsson stop support for there older buggy UIQ3 series phones - before even the most serious bugs are fixed. The suggestion: just buy the new one. Just another example on how Sony alienates there customers.

SE if you betraying your users and fans is not the way to go...you will pay for this soon. Sack the retards responsible for this, and start acting like a proper company and you can have a chance in the smartphones market

Absolutely retarded on SE's part here.First admit there are issues with the firmware and then say they are acceptable to the Service providers and carriers. Service providers don't use your F'ing phones we do. Consumers paid for a product that is not supposed to be flawed.I would not be surprised if it SE is sued or already legally bound to fix faulty phones. I mean there are laws that protect consumers from this type thing.Either way, good job SE... if you were looking to piss off your highest valued customers. These are not cheapy throw-away phones, these are your flag ship products were talking about.

Sony Ericsson sucks! This is my first and my last SE phone, I have had this phone for barely more than half a year and it is still a buggy piece of s**t!

Hi, I had my own go at Slashdot. Go to http://slashdot.org/firehose.pl and - if it is not up front - search for P990. If you like my rant then vote for it the the green plus thumb up sign. Thanks. Martin
