Even Tom Brokaw admitted that the press did next to no investigation into Obama and they look forward to learning about him when he is in office! He said they just didn't have time since they were focused on Hillary for so long. And his mother was a US citizen for only 4 years over the age of 14, so even if a mother's citizenship could make him qualified (which it wouldn't), that wouldn't apply to his situation.

The law has changed since the time when Obama was born. At the time of his birth, the law stated that for a parent to impart US citizenship upon the child, they had to live in the United States for 10 years, with 5 of those years being over the age of 14. Therefore, since she was only 18, she could not pass on her US citizenship and he became a citizen of Kenya.
