That's true... Every character on the show has been in a bisexual situation or gay. I find it funny that all of the English character's are bi and the american was gay, unless I missed something? I actually got quite uncomfortable watching those parts of the show.
The Lost Room was very very good. A full series would have been great. But I fear that it's a tough sell in the usual little promos. It's too random. Something like Lost has the wacky random sci-fi, but it's an easy sell, they have a load of attractive people running around killing each other in a tropical paradise. The first season of Lost was basically sold on Kate standing on the beech in her underwear.Sadly the Lost Room doesn't have the easy hook.
Eeehmmm the whole "bad wolf" thing does get explained. No spoilers here, but the references to bad wolf in different time periods was the way the universe (or tardis) showed Rose that she and the Doctor were connected. The universe (or tardis' heart) had a plan and needed to push Rose and the Doctor into the situation and show them the way out. /end nerd.
I hope they show the Christmas episode "The Runaway Bride". Takes place directly after the season 2 finale (when the Doctor leaves, and looks up and there's a strange woman in the TARDIS, and before season 3 premiere (before we meet the new 'companion'.) It's like a stand-alone Doctor Who episode. Singular plot line that is resolved in one ep (iirc), with a companion only referenced briefly to in one previous episode (the very end of season 2).I found it to be a very well-done and absolutely hilarious episode. I wonder if Sci-Fi will even show it, since technically the season starts with Smith and Jones, and if we're to expect 2 seasons of the new companion like with had with Rose, then showing the episode at the end of the season (presumably around xmas) would seem very out of place, since most of us (I know I did) will remember the heart-wrenching end of season 2 and the appearance of the bride at the very end.Oh well. I hope they show it. Great episode. But if it doesn't air before Smith and Jones, it's going to feel very out of place (I don't remember if there was new canon introduced, I'll have to watch it again.) because of the disconnect between the season 2 finale and the season 3 premiere.
@technopops13 episodes is a standard series length in the UK. Just because the US does, like 20+, doesn't mean we have to ;-) Quality not quantity.Note, we also get a complete run in this country. Our networks would never show a series like in the US, 2 episones, reruns, 4 episodes, reruns, etc. This is one way in which I think British TV gives the perception of "quality". It's the same old contrived rubbish, but we don't water down the seasons, so there is no start/stop that seems to plague US TV.
It's disappointing that, despite the fact that the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, not related the BBC other than working together on occasion) pays for part of the budget of the show and is a co-producer, they still get the episodes months behind the UK. They won't even start airing series 3 until June. What's the point of paying for part of the show and being a co-producer if you still get it months behind? Internet for me.That said, the CBC still will be getting it a month before Sci-Fi. CBC is a crown corporation (owned by the government), so the affiliates all have OTA broadcasts. If you're in the northern US, you should be able to pick up the CBC with a decent antenna if you're near a major Canadian city, and watch it legally a month before SciFi airs it in the US.I'm not sure if CBC has digital OTA (over-the-air) broadcasts. Toronto might. Digital OTA broadcasts are in their infancy in Canada compared to the US; with so many subscribers to digital satellite and cable services, I guess there isn't much demand.

Doctor Who is a great show. I can't wait to see this season. However, I am going to miss Rose Tyler. Does anyone have any idea why Rose left the show?
