thinkprogress.org — In a new VoteVets ad, Brian McGough, a Purple Heart recipient, challenges Limbaugh. In response, Limbaugh today attacked McGough: "This is such a blatant use of a valiant combat veteran, lying to him about what I said and then strapping those lies to his belt, sending him out via the media...to walk into as many people as he can walk into."

What's pathetic is that the idiots who defend Limpdick, think he wasn't talking about the troops in general. If they'd actually listen to the un-edited version, NOT the one he played for Armed Forces radio later (which he EDITED)& then replayed again while trying to claim he was being mis quoted, but listen the ORIGINAL piece, he (and the caller) were CLEARLY talking about ALL troops who talk out against the war, etc...as being phony. The other soldier now being attributed to his comment was about 2 minutes later in the piece and had nothing to do with the comments he was talking about originally. Nada.

DiggIzKids - what the hell are you talking about? Hillary founded Media Matters? Put down the Jesus Juice and do your homework. The founder of Media Matters is an ex-GOP (the guy who wrote fake books on Anita Hill & Hillary Clinton) named David Brock. He also wrote his own book about his time at the Heritage Foundation and how he and his friends on the right made up stuff for cash (think Coulter).

The liberals weren't the ones caught broadcasting edited versions of what Rush said and saying its the full clip.. that's the handiwork of EIB, and Rush himself. Rush shouldn't be afraid however.. we all know the American people have a pretty short memory. Historical account of Rush's comment and his attempt to spin out of it: http://mediamatters.org/items/200710020011
