There are some serious flaws with this page:The alloy was not a catalyst it was a reactant. It would be consumed in the reaction. Also the Car running on water is just BS. Perpetual motion does not exist.
Totally agree with JDogHerman, andrewegc, the article is quite vague, and DUH, the water is not the fuel. Water has very high energy bonds in it, bonds that release energy when formed (H2+O2-->H2O) but, logically require that same amount of energy to break. Water does not have vast amounts of energy in it. Nor does sal****er. The fuel is their "Mysterious (but very inexpensive) metal alloy" if it's so inexpensive and creates H2 when put in sal****er, why isn't it used all over already? Somehow, is it a rare material, guarded carefully, but also very inexpensive? Also, needing 7.5 gal water to run a 12 hp engine? That sounds like very poor energy density to me. Also, what's up with "Brown's Gas"? Electrolyzed from H2O, but somehow releases more O2 along with H2O when burned? Uhhhh, WHAT? See the second to last section "A new Brown's Gas Technology" Sounds a whole lot like they're preaching perpetual motion...This article is badly written, and amazingly vague about anything technical that will prove it exists. Methinks BEE ESS
1. Don't call me Numbskull. :P2. I never claimed there wasn't a loss. There is. I'm not claiming that you capture the hydrogen and oxgyen (or water) on the end of the reaction and recycle it back through. The amount of energy used to split the hydrogen and oxygen *is* significant, thus the reason you must still supplement the reaction with gasoline. There is still benefits to the technology, but don't expect to run an engine 100% on water is all. The best I've seen is 75% water, 25% gasoline in a motorcycle engine. Just for perspective.Understand that this tech may still help significantly SLOW fossil fuel consumption until we come up with a permanent answer.3. Don't call me Numbskull.
It seems that both hope and stupidity spring eternal...as tempting as it is to buy into these technologies, they are to a one, pseudoscience, lies or garbage.
Hi all,Just seen this thread, and realized its one of the top hits on google for this subject! I know that the post is old but i want to clarify some things as i don't want people getting the wrong idea of this good technology!I have been researching this technology and have a fair knowledge in mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics and maths and it has a hell of a lot more potential than some put it out to be.In answer to any questions you have i hope this helps....Hydro boosters, egas generator or whatever you wish to name them are a parasitical technology. By this I mean the generator (electrolyzer) uses energy from the alternator to split the water! this uses a lot more energy than you could get out of the mixture! therefore you are right about this!!!HOWEVER!!THE FACTS!!Most people have not looked deep enough! the mixture of hydrogen and oxygen produced goes into the cylinder with the very inefficient fuel with a relatively slow burn rate!!!! the hydrogen and oxygen being very potent gases mixes with the fuel and speeds up the reaction and burns more fuel than would normally be done under standard conditions! In turn this means that the fuel burns more powerful and faster! so more power at the top of the cylinder. This is the beauty of the technology, the gases produced act to become a catalyst for the fuel allowing it to bring forward more potential! this is why you in fact gain more out of it! simply by allowing you to maximize the normal fuel! this then means that less fuel is ultimately needed to produce the same result!!!As long as the electrolyzer used is fairly efficient (but not overly crucial) it can increase mileage significantly (10-30%) with a basic unit. however because it relies on the current fuel it could never power a whole car or engine! but can supplement to very high percentages as have been proved! also from the better burn it can drastically reduce harmful emissions My advice is to never look at anything without looking how it will affect something else. Go into everything with a open mind and you will succeed! In future never call anyone a numb skull or stupid! for trying to help the environment or anything beneficial even if you think they could be wrong the fact is that they are the ones that are pro-actively trying out there! negative reactions are not acceptable in any civilized world! SO GROW UP! AND ACT YOUR AGE!!!! and bow down to these people how are willing to try and think of solutions!!! especially when their right!right I hope that's cleared things up! right now go and research and experiment! that's how we move forward! done leave it to the universities and big name companies! get out there!
If you gain 10%, how much are you losing by running your engine harder, to make the alternator generate the extra electricity, to extract the hydrogen to supplement the engine that is running harder to generate the extra electricity to extract the hydrogen to supplement the engine that is running harder to...etc? I bet it's more than you gain.
IT IS POSSIBLE (for all those willing to open their eyes, read on)drall.kj, et al., or most of you: running a car on hydrogen is not a farce and is easier than you think. drall.kj, c'mon buddy, where'd you get that degree from, stop spitting venom. i'm a computer scientist and my buddy a mechanical engineer. we have a car running as a hydrogen hybrid that gets approx 800 miles to the gallon. it's a ford explorer and can hit about 70mph before it needs to suck the fossil juice. you hear a lot about the dangers of this technology because when smart people get it working, and start to get publicity, their car inexplicably explodes. the knowledge, for the most part, has been there since the late 1700s to 1800, start reading patents! the knowledge is out there! (aware i'm going to sound like a conspiracy theorist but screw it) then keep your eyes open for mysterious happenings in the world of alternative energy. the world runs off oil and oil makes money. money buys anything, including power and inexplicable events. that said, knowledge is power and the internet has revolutionized our access to knowledge. go make a hydrogen hybrid yourself, you can do it.
Oh and one more thing. For all those who so publicly dismissed this article and the reasoning therein due to the "mysterious metal alloy..." think Drano. Do your homework, read patents, you'll make a hydrogen hybrid that weighs about the same as the frame you built it on and only has to be refueled, with water, every 300 miles or so. And gas, about every time you're considering an oil change. And while you're at it, read Decartes, Plato, Osho, Hume and Gibran. You'll soon get rid of your cable and throw away your TV. You're zombies and the worst part is you aren't even aware enough to realize that fact.

Here's a good place to do some reading on the technology. Next time don't presume. Do your homework first. :)http://icubenetwork.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

Hey. I would like to know more about the car you have that runs as a hydrogen hybrid.
