sysinternals.com — OK, I'm sure that most of us have, at one time or another, run msconfig to shut down some superflous services (qttask, scheduler, etc.) to try to speed up boot times and increase system performance. This site shows that you can run windows with ZERO services so long as you need it for basic operation only.

"39 days ago, digg's policy seems to be if its over 15 days old its not a dupe. Dupe detection only works under the 15 day policy. Just FYI."So does that mean every 15 days, I can recycle all the best diggs, just in case others don't see them?Won't that get old, quick?

I have an even better solution to improving windows, don't. Buy a mac or run linux or my fave, freeBSD. I haven't converted anybody to linux yet but every person I've convinced to buy a mac has thanked me profusely
