my.opera.com — For all the Opera converts who are jealous of PortableFirefox, Opera can be made to run off a USB Key. Just follow the instructions posted by Naranek, and you will be able to take your new favourite browser with you wherever you go.Note: You may want to turn off disk cache and history to save wear-and-tear on the drive.

Set it up not to record history, not to cache on the USB key (that's part of the setup for the flash-version), and it really shouldn't record to the drive at all... so very little wear.
