splashpage.mtv.com — ?The discussion is always, ?Is this a good use of this character or do we want to save them to fully use down the line?? ? and that was the Gambit debate in the original trilogy of movies,? explained Katz. ?With the original trilogy, there was also the idea that he and Wolverine would have tried to fit the same space, and it would been awkward.

Deadpool must retain its comical out of comic 3rd dimension style - (a la fight club moments....)'Am I still thinking in those little yellow boxes?'Good! Oh little yellow boxes! What fun we shall have!

they completely robbed silver surfer of his supreme coolness by putting him in the middle of a s**tty s**tacular s**t-o-rama movie

Gambit is totally lame. He's one of many s**tty early 90s characters that has no real depth at all but he's just "So cool" that random assh**es will line up to see his movies. I love Wolverine, but Wolverine is an actual character with a storyline that makes sense and motivation. Gambit is just a marketing machine. Good job feeding it.

They'd have to "Jokerize" Deadpool. He's crazy, like bats**t crazy. He even knows he's a comic book character. I think a deadpool movie will work quite well. And Ryan Reynolds is a better actor than some give him credit for.

the fact that gambit has no story behind it is another plus of the movie because it gives marvel the oportunity to give strength to a character that a lot of people seem to like but nobody knows a lot about, so yeah you're an a-hole...just because the characters background wasn't vital to the storyline of the x-men it doesn't mean it won't be a good story
