gizmodo.com — According to the consistently reliable iPhone Hellas, the iPhone OS 2.2 update will appear even sooner than we all expected. Barring any sudden plan changes, the iPhone Hellas people are saying the upgrade will be available on November 21. The new feature list remains unchanged from the previous beta versions, so the question here is: Would they ad

Clearly iPod Touch folks get charged for every upgrade, and will soon be charged a fee just for using it.

Updates are not always bug fixes. They can also be enhancements and new features.

And also mms picture sending ability as well as zoom on camera. Things that 40 dollar cheapo Korean phones have. What up Apple?

I really hope Apple do not change the iTunes db hashing format (again). As a linux user without iTunes it used to be really cool to sync music over wi-fi using amarok. Apple broke that on purpose last update.

Will it still drop 3G calls every 2 minutes? I've heard this is a hardware issue, so I'm thinking yes.Yes, yes, I know, YOUR iPhone has never dropped a call, so I MUST be an idiot. All I'm saying is that I can't have a conversation with any one of my friends who owns an iPhone 3G, at least not anything beyond *hisssssssss* *crackle* ----HELLO?-----*hissssssss*----LLO?----*crackle*----ARE----*hissssssssss*---THERE?----*radio silence*.....*hisssssss*...silence.....*call drop*It blows my mind what people will put up with and still call the final product 'good'. People are actually emptying their pockets for this, and recommending it to other people! I know a guy who carries around a flip phone to make phone calls, and an iPhone to listen to music. Now watch me get dugg down for simply relaying what I've observed. I know you people don't like to hear it, but it's the simple truth.

Constantly. I have to think really hard about which stories I want to hit the digg link to, because there's ~80% chance that any article will crash me. Usually when I'm halfway through reading the thing, so that when I re-open Safari, the cache is empty and the back button is useless, so I have to start over at page one on digg. That's just my anecdotal experience, but it's insanely frustrating. Even happens when I remember to scroll down s l o o o w l y. (And this is over wireless, btw.)

The ability to "RDP" has been around for years before the iPhone was ever conceived. Why are you touting this as being intelligent?Once again, no one cares what features you use. Narcissistic much? Everyone has different uses for their phone but the consensus is that omitting such basic features as MMS and voice dial is ludicrous. I get the feeling you would be defending this phone if you couldn't make voice calls because you can text and "Apple is developing a cool way to implement it".Look, it's pretty - no, it's f**king sexy - but it's f**king dumb too. The processor can handle much more than the software is allowed to do. When Jobs finally pulls his head out of Wozniak's butt crack and they decide to descend, holding hands, from their mountain of money into the real world, you may have a phone worthy of the price tag.
