I call the bundling of new gaming platforms a "basement dwelling virgin loser idiot tax"If you can't wait a couple of weeks for a non-bundled version, you really need to asses your priorities. Here are some suggestions while you wait: Get some fresh air, brush your teeth, talk to a woman (maybe even touch one?), change your underwear, help dad rake leaves, go to dermatologist, find missing retainer, etc....Nobody is going to read your blog review anyway.
boo f**king hooThat family can't wait a couple of weeks to get the system? The high(er) price is what you pay to shout out "I AM TEH GR8TESS!!11!!! I HAVE TEH BESTEST SYSTEM FRIST!!111!"
the big deal is that the consoles have had advertised prices for months now... if the bundle prices were the only thing the stores advertised then that'd be OK... but like when Xbox 360 came out, the ads were for the system at the regular price.. there was no mention or inclusion in the advertisement that you'd have to buy a bundle. You had parents going to the store on release day after they saved up x$$ ahead of time only to find out at the checkout they needed more... that's the problem. The stores are perfectly right to want to sell bundles... if they would simply announce that up front, then a lot of people would stop complaining. But they're NOT. They're trying to get customers in the store from the hype, then change the offer after they are in the store... that's false advertising. I'm sure people would grumble about the high prices if the bundles were announced ahead of time, but that would be perfectly legal... it's a shiny new product after all. It would also cut down on the "mad rush" at the store if you knew ahead of time it cost $1500 to play... and that's the thing... everybody want's the "everybody wants one" hype, but not everybody can have one for another 6 months... get over it and run a fair business, don't deceive customers when you can't sell them what they want anyway!!!
I don't feel sorry for the parents of whiney children at all. Too many parents have instilled a sense of entitlement into their kids. If you're the type of parent that doesn't know how to say "no" to your kids, it's your own fault. Now I do feel sorry for the parents of children that saved up all of their summer allowance and lawn mowing job money for a PS3 or Wii. A lot of those kids are going to get screwed because it isn't likely that their parents are going to be able to take time off from work and other family duties just to camp outside of a store for several days.

I laugh at you all. Quit your bitching and learn to be patient. Didn't the recent eps of South Park teach you anything?

You are missing the point. Why should they let eBay make the profit when they can keep the profits to themselves.
