xbox360fanboy.com — An online survey reveals that Microsoft may be working on its own version of Nintendo's Miis called "Avatars." The new Avatars will replace Gamer Pictures beginning this holiday. The Avatars will be completely customizable. No word yet on what other functions they may have, though it's possible they could be integrated in to games in the future.

Miis are popular because they were there on day 1 and used in many games since then.Copying such a feature 2 years after the release of the Xbox360 doesn't seem the smartest thing to do....

well, Microsoft is well known for using mundane titles that actually means something - example: word, powerpoint, access, etc

woow that whole copying thing makes nooooo sense!Just because nintendo made little people that you can make look like yourself doesn't mean its their idea, has anyone ever heard of... the sims??Microsoft isnt copying, their just "joining" the idea
