i was always a fan of reiserFS in my linux days. i don't really enjoy the HFS+ but i need it for compatability with carbon.

If Apple moved to ZFS it would be yet another blow to Microsoft Windows VistaVista needs to get off its bloated ars, and do something about it. If they want to stay at the top.

You can also use/create/access UFS file system(s) under current versions of Mac OS X
