filmschoolrejects.com — You read that right. Apparently there is a new rumor that was floated to the guys over at AICN that Al Scent of a Woman Pacino would play the head honcho of the new, evil terrorist organization in the upcoming Bond film Quantum of Solace.

Emilio Estevez dies super early on in Mission: Impossible. It was done on purpose to make sure the audience knew "we're not gonna pull any punches". Killing of a huge actor as a relatively worthless side character in films is not unheard of, but if it were done more often (such as... cast partial unknowns in main roles, and the best known actors in supporting roles) it would make the movie world less predictable. Also, stop giving the people with the most screen time or biggest checks top billing. It creates a false perception of who is in the movie and how long they'll be there.Hard Candy had Ellen Page, Patrick Wilson, and Sandra Oh. Granted, there were only five people in the film, and only those three had speaking parts, but to give Sandra Oh a credit as if she were involved in the main plot the entire time, instead of the 40 seconds she's in the film, was stupid.
