I see Facebook as a place where people post their photos and comments that are somewhat interesting and meaningful, like to say you are traveling in Rome or something. Usually it makes for interesting reading to see what people are up to in their lives.Twitter is more to tell everyone what you're eating for lunch and when you go to the toilet. That's the gist of the meaningless drivel people post on it. I have no time for it and I hope it burns in hell along with MySpace, Bebo, Hi5 et all.

What's really galling about #6 is that all your Facebook contacts who don't care about Twitter have to put up with the damn Twitter hashtags polluting the Facebook live feed without doing anything useful.

I find twitter useful to promote a business. But it is a real time consuming API. Facebook is also convenient but I believe there are better ways to promote oneself and ones products than those two media.
