thinkprogress.org — On a visit to Ohio yesterday, White House senior political adviser Karl Rove claimed he never wanted the war in Iraq: “I wish the war were over,” Rove said. “I wish the war never existed." This is the same Karl Rove who chaired the White House Iraq Group and urged GOP candidates to "focus on the war" in their 2002 election campaigns.

I dont know whats wrong with his statements. You guys sound like jokesters over here.I dont want war too, but I do support it for many good reasons. It's not the matter of who likes the war and who doesnt, everyone agrees that war sucks, but sometimes war is necessary. Its the latter that we are divided about.

My name is Officer Charles. I tell you, every day is a different day. Nothing is ever routine. Just when you thought you'd seen everything...Some lady called in to the police HQ, complaining about loud music coming from next door. I just thought this was going to be the usual check-up. You know, summer break. Kids partying at home.I parked on the side of the road and walked to the entrance. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, but it felt strange. I couldn't see any commotion through the windows and the front door was open.I entered the house, thinking no one would be able to hear me over the music. The heavy metal screeching music. I hated that stuff. Can't think straight.I entered the lounge. There was a note on the table. It read:" I'm sorry...This guilt is too much.I'm tired of blaming everyone else. - Kasper Rove "I looked through the door way and noticed two legs dangling.Damn... the stench.Damn... them suicides.Don't they say you go to hell if you kill yourself? I guess its hell for them already.(( Disclaimer: The characters portrayed are fictional. If they bear any likeness to living persons, it is coincidence. ))

Wasn't Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan?I think it's amazing that these guys think people are dumb enough to think that a "war" on one man equates to a war on Afghanistan, Iraq, and probably Iran.f**k it, let's just get it over with and have a war with every middle-eastern country. While we're at it, destroy everything. It can't be much worse PR and we know how to destroy things, it's rebuilding that just doesn't happen. Yea, and our troops are not trained to be urban wartime police, very hard and dangerous - not something you can "win". Do the police ever "win"?

Hackthegov, yes we all know people are allowed to change their mind. The reason this douchebag is getting railed for it is because of Rove's, remember he is the chief GOP strategist, idea of attacking everyone who has ever changed their mind as a flip-flopper. Yes, any sane rational intelligent human being knows that a sane rational intelligent human being will and should change his mind as more knowledge comes to light. This administration has been the one of "stay the course", "we will not change directions midstream", "he changed his mind on that, he's a flip-flopper", etc, etc, etc. This is called turnabout is fair play, but not in the sense of just straight retribution, it's more a big fat, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!" It is time to turns Rove's own tactics against him, and hang him out to dry for good. This man needs to be removed from out political system forever. And assuming you're being sarcastic, I dugg you up. :)

This is stupid. Of course he wishes the war never existed. No one wishes for war to exist, but sometimes you have to do it. See, if he had said he was glad the war existed, you'd call him a warmonger. He says now that he wishes there was no war, and you criticism him just the same. You can't win with you people.

Maybe it seems liberal because most people in the country are really liberals! Or at least the ones who know how to use a computer and are paying attention to what is going on in the world instead of watching American Idle Mind and who knocked up Anna Nichole Smith. There is no questionnaire before signing up to Digg asking you if you're liberal, centrist, or conservative. Its an open forum. So if you want to leave then fare thee well. But I'm not going to say "love it or leave it" because that's something a narrow-minded conservative would say (or at least have it painted in the back window of their pickup truck like some numbskull around here does).
