I guess this is the Dark Side of the Hype, many of these comments. What's interesting to me about most of the iPhone reviews, both negative and positive, is that people don't seem to get that the iPhone is really all about software, not hardware. Virtually every current cell phone out there is a static entity: you buy it, it stays the same. The iPhone is upgradeable. I would guess the first major upgrade will come around October/November, and probably greatly improve some existing features, as well as add some new ones. I think that is truly going to "blow" people's minds when it happens, and will fuel a second surge in iPhone buying around December.
Fanboy, don't get all defensive. I'm not fudding. I bought an iPhone and I love it. I plan to use it all the time. Point is that on a POS phone you don't have to send it in for a new battery. Also, on a POS phone, you just buy another POS phone. Not as likely an option for a $700 phone.
