I love Dr. Paul's libertarianism, but even a basic understanding of the US electoral system would tell you that a vote for a third party is a wasted vote.If all of those Libertarian and Constitution Party members became active in the GOP, they would see their views on the platform. Anything else is just self-marginalization.

The argument of "wasted vote" does not hold water. If the group of people NOT voting for the GOP and DEMS increases over time then there is hope of busting that system sometime in the future. It may a while but if you truly believe that the two parties are of the same ilk and you don't like that then why would you "waste" your vote on the lesser of two evils?
