If it's fully legal then it is not criminalized. Legalization and decriminalization are synonyms. How can you support one and not the other? Those are not semantics I can believe in.
Barack Obama has thus far been heavy on promise for change, but has never addressed a few critical issues ... Ron Paul brings up several solid points and I hope that this message reaches the Barack Obama camp ... if Barack Obama was to directly address the issues of our monetary system and upcoming financial crisis -- the diverging wealth inequality, the escalating corporate power, the growing national and personal debts ... if Barack Obama was to directly address one of the roots for most of these problems -- our bleeding economy wasted through wartime funding ... and if Barack Obama was to directly address the future of Iraq and the rest of the Middle East, the prospects of a draft, the deteriorating status of our existing troops that have been pushed beyond their breaking point ... if these issues were even *mentioned* by Barack Obama as part of his presidential campaign, then it would be the start for some real change ...
@aliengoodsNot really, you can take baby steps just like with everything else. If he wanted an outright revolution he wouldn't be campaigning in the system.
Ron Paul isn't brainwashed or part of the "big boys club"... he actually speaks the truth - God bless him for having the courage to stand up for truth!
Taxes are part of an agreement that voters make with government, a contract in which citizens agree to exchange their money for the government's goods and services. To consume these goods and services without paying for them is itself theft, and is rightly punished as breach of contract. Some may object that they have not agreed to the contract, but if so, then they must not consume the government's goods and services. Furthermore, contract by majority rule is better than by minority rule, one-person rule or anarchy (which results in kill-or-be-killed). Opponents of taxation under democracy are therefore challenged to find an improvement on democracy.
What politicians (that aren't Ron Paul) do is repeat slogans, think corporatist slogans like 'just do it' that have no meaning. Then, when someone like Ron Paul says the word 'change,' and means it, no listens or rolls their eyes.

lol Obama may or may not take troops out of Iraq. However. If he does take them out of Iraq, they're going to Iran or Pakistan.
