Is there any particular reason why this story got buried? It doesn't show up unless you click the "Include Buried Stories" option for Digg search.
I hear ya Freedoms, but two things1) the scarcity of gold is its major benefit. With electronics these days it would be very simple to infinitely divide gold sitting in a vault somewhere. You could swipe it like a credit card. 2) the above stated Paul wasn't Pro-Active as in his opinions didn't prevent these problems. I see what your saying about being philosophic. Austrian economics is more a philosophy than active in controlling an economy.
