The arrogance portrayed by his supporters (at least those on Digg) is a huge turn off. Even if I found some of his ideas to be something I could support (hardly any of them, if any at all, work for me), I think I'd find myself bristling at this "he's the only one who knows what he's talking about" bulls**t.The fact of the matter is that Ron Paul is a regular human being. And there is not a single human being on this planet capable of not only being right all the time, but capable of knowing everything to the point where they'd be able to take the correct course of action each and every time. Now you're going to tell me that's not what you all are saying. So, let me pre-counter: you're coming off that way. Arrogant and fanboyishly annoying.
I remember when Maher referred to Ron Paul as his "new hero" last year. It's a shame that more people did not hear his message or simply chose to ignore it. We can now look forward to more endless war and economic disaster, as well as more loss of our freedoms.
