blogs.abcnews.com — Ron Paul surprisingly takes John McCain's spot as the #3 declared candidate. He has $2.4 million Cash on Hand, to John McCain's $2 million. The freedom movement is on the rise. Dr. Ron Paul is the #1 Republican on youtube, facebook, myspace, eventful, meetup, and Digg! He is the only Republican who is opposed to the war in Iraq.

$25 from me. Glad to see others are doing the same. There has to some wealthy millionaires out there who want to make a difference in this country.

I've only been able to give a measly $25 per paycheck (bi-weekly) to RPHQ, so $50 so far. But that doesn't include the sweat equity and local contributions within our meetup group. We spent about $900 for a local county GOP BBQ event (2nd place in the straw poll!). And I am sure other local groups are doing just as well. But the great thing is that when you have inspired volunteers, we don't mind at all. We will do what we can, with what little we have to at least let Rep. Paul have a platform for the message of Liberty and of the Constitution.and don't blame Digg...makes us sound like whiners.

What a great story, Ron Paul is heading into the Top Tier with his campaign funds. 3rd! Off to donate some more money now. Did anyone else see the lady in the comments section who said she was going to sell her house and donate it all to Ron Paul? That's the kind of support other candidates will never have.

Dr. Paul is the man. An honest man with no ties to big money and the evil corporations. I have never contributed to any candidate. I am now! The main stream candidates are a disgrace. Rise up America and take back our country. Dr. Paul 2008!

...And the ABC news board moderator is using this 'control and regulate' tactic as well. Three of my posts were deleted from the article's page, along with many other good articles praising Ron Paul. I suppose the moderator is trying to censor opinions that are considered not to be 'on topic'? Try posting and see if your post remains throughout the day... http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/07/ron-paul-tops-m.html

Yes you are. Besides more people discovering him over the next few months, there are current supporters who have never donated. With the amount raised this quarter some people will be encouraged to donate who may have thought it was pointless before. There are tons of people of the opinon that they shouldn't vote for him because he probably won't win. That circular reasoning/self fulfilling prophecy makes me want to scream. Anyway 2.4 million in the bank is encouraging. That's not necessarily what he raised, it's what's in the bank. We won't really know where it's going for another three months, but I'm confident it can only get better.
