You're right! An entire movement must be discredited because of one fan trying to invite racists and another was hired without knowledge of his background...this whole thing must be a secret conspiracy to get racist into D.C. Get over yourself.

The $150 billion Bush "Tax Rebates" are going to do 1 of 2 things: Since we are already $9.2 trillion in debt, this will A:) put the country $150 billion more in debt, or B:) which is the most probable, this will be $150 billion in freshly printed money (out of thin air) that the Fed will dump into the system, thereby destroying the value of the dollar even more. This Ron Paul plan actually makes sense. And lets not forget that Ron Paul was on the Gold Commission and is the ranking member of the Financial Committee for the entire country. Ron Paul has more monetary and economic experience than ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES COMBINED.

Despite what derhamm may wish, the repeal of Roe v. Wade would not lead to the federal government making abortion illegal. Dr. Paul's problem with the federal government is that it involved itself in the process to begin with where it had no business - he would not then bring the federal government back in to make it illegal. Abortion would become an issue for the individual States (why it would not be an issue just for the individual is something that Dr. Paul's not addressed - sadly) and allow California to decide for Californians and Utahians to decide for Utahians. As a libertarian, I would like the decision to be at the individual level rather than made by any governmental agency - still, I will be supporting Dr. Paul in 2008 as the difference between he and the rest of the other candidates on the issue of individual sovereignty and liberty is a light years difference. Vote Mc Obamtonkeeiani for increased restriction, more war, more loss of liberty, and more economic disaster.See more at www.ronpaul2008.com and search for issues to learn what the candidate really believes.

Ron Paul would give the "choice" to each individual state, therefore Ron Paul is pro-"choice." When people say they are pro-life but believe it should be left up to each individual woman and her doctor, what are they really? They're pro-choice. Come on, face the facts. Ron Paul is pro-choice.

I am saying the federal government should enforce the 14th Amendment which says, in part, "...nor shall any State deprive any person of life..." If you're going to argue the unborn aren't persons, don't bother.

It's thought processes like these that got us in the fugly situation we're in to begin with.....when people say we need to wake up, that's exactly what they mean...until people choose to educate themselves and not just recite verbatim what they hear on Faux News, CNN and other 24 hour "news" channels, we'll continue on the slippery slope toward fascism. Saying it can't be done is an excuse to not try & I refuse to accept that anymore.

Just curious...how exactly will removing SOX help the people financially? first off, without SOX, companies would have an easier time of ripping off people, moreover, SOX has created jobs...are you people crazy....seriously...corporations are making record profits...they dont need anymore incentive to be less transparent....OUTSOURCING is what ruins the economy...and poor lending practice....but really people...are you stupid enough to believe getting rid of SOX will help the average person? it will just create more worldcoms and enrons, less jobs, and less transparency for those companies already flipping americans the middle finger by outsourcing and taking on stupid risk...

Does the 14th Amendment say, "...nor shall any State deprive any person of life..." or not? Is abortion depriving a person of life or not? If the answer to both questions is "yes," which it is, then the federal government should enforce the 14th amendment if it were a just government, but it's actually become an extremely wicked government.
