Great, a ron paul post, which means a bunch of comments from smug college freshman that just passed econ 101 and suddenly consider themselves experts on economics are going to call us sheeple and talk down to us. Then they'll call on us to "wake up" and start some sort of revolution that would completely destabilize the entire global economy, whine a bit, then forget everything and play halo.
"America was founded upon the idea that each individual had an unqualified right to the fruits of his labor."Especially black people, women and Indians, right? Oops, those people had no rights. The Rich are not in a position where they NEED to sell their labor. For instance, if you win the lottery, you may be in a position that you will never have to sell your labor again. The return on investment is lower when wages are high. It is therefore in the interest of this investor class to drive down wages so profits go up.

Ron Paul votes with his party 76% of the time.http://www.opencongress.org/people/show/400311_ron ...The republican senator from Maine, Olympia Snowe, votes with her party less than that, at 63%. Why don't I hear eternal praise for her? On the other side of the Aisle, I see that Rep. Bobby Bright ( http://www.opencongress.org/people/show/412267_bob ... ) only votes with his party (the Democrats) 66% of the time, or how about Walter Minnick ( http://www.opencongress.org/people/show/412300_wal ... ) , who votes with his party 60% of the time?Is your only qualification for praising someone the fact that they buck their party? f**k, I should run as a republican in my district, and vote like a democrat. I will then surly be a god to the Paul Bots on Digg.com

Your missing the point. The reason ron paul is so popular because he always stands by and votes to defend constitutional freedom no matter how the rest of his party is voting.http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/2008/articles/ron- ...
